The IT Match – Bringing IT Executives and IT vendors together

The top technology leaders have overwhelmingly indicated that IT executives make better decisions collaboratively than they can in a vacuum. That is why The IT Summit developed our IT Match program. IT Match is an exclusive member organization designed to provide technology executives with the medium to make better and faster buying decisions through peer collaboration with a select group of qualified IT executives.

The IT Match creates focused local and regional executive meetings for IT executives who share similar purchasing objectives and timelines. Each meeting brings together a group of up to ten IT executives, each of whom are looking to purchase the same technology on similar buying timelines. Three qualified vendors who have been hand-picked by the IT executives provide brief presentations to the CIO group and address the executives’ specific purchasing and technical issues. Once the presentations have concluded, the executives are provided the opportunity to engage in a vendor-free discussion to share their feedback, to discuss the presentations and technologies, and to help each other make their purchasing decisions.

The IT executives are never obligated to buy from the vendors in the room and there is no cost to the IT executives for participating. But you benefit from the suggestions, ideas, and experiences from other IT leaders. The result is a more informed decision process with a broader, unbiased base of information on which to make those decisions. And that is an opportunity that could be priceless.
