In 1852 Henry Wells and William Fargo founded a company that has become a legendary part of America. Learn about Wells Fargo and it’s part in the history of the Old West at the Wells Fargo History Museum.

Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1950 but not built until 1970’s, the First Christian Church is a classic Wright design. Based on the Wright’s concept that a triangle represented an attitude of prayer, the building is laid out as a double triangle and walls of glass. It is a design that any fan of modern architecture will appreciate.

If your schedule has a the time, a trip to Tuba City in North-East Arizona will be rewarded with a visit to the Navajo Code Talkers Museum. Many people, including WWII veterans are still not aware of the Navajo Code Talkers and their huge contributions to the war efforts in the Pacific. Transmitting vital information in their native dialect their communications befuddled the enemy as it was unlike any code previously devised. It has been said that if was not for the Navajo Code Talker’s, the Marines would have never taken Iwo Jima. The Official Navajo Code Talkers Museum is an fitting tribute to these brave and mostly forgotten soldiers and worthy of a visit.
