As Knowledge Factor’s Chief Learning Officer, Mr. Adams is responsible for the design and development of the confidence-based learning and assessment methodology as a teaching tool with a focus on knowledge mastery. He also is responsible for learning and assessment research in knowledge transfer, the intellectual property and patents, as well as the development of assessment analytics using confidence-based measurement tools.  With a background in Organization Development, Mr. Adams utilizes a systems engineering approach to developing effective learning content.

With more than 30 years in education and training, Mr. Adams brings extensive training and learning experience from government, academia and the commercial world. He has been instrumental in the development of several online universities and has consulted with numerous organizations on global eLearning projects and initiatives. Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Adams directed a team that developed global blended learning programs for Xerox and Microsoft, which were delivered in Europe, Asia, South America and the U.S. Both programs earned top honors for best in class from the U.S. Distance Learning Association (USDLA). Mr. Adams conducted earlier work for the National Defense University in Information Resource Management in developing courses that were taught at a distance. Mr. Adams brings extensive knowledge of learning styles and the most effective ways to present content to help learners achieve desired learning outcomes. He has been considered a pioneer in distance education having written one of the first online programs for an online university in 1987.

Besides winning awards three straight years in a row at the U.S. Distance Education Association for ‘Best in Class Corporate Training’, Mr. Adams also won a Brandon Hall award for ‘Educational Innovation’ in 1999 for a web-based program he designed. He was recognized by the County of Los Angeles for his innovation in training and education; has presented at a number of conferences and has co-authored a number of articles on distance education methodologies. Mr. Adams has a B.S. degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco, and completed graduate work at Regis University in Organizational Leadership and Project Management.
