Brent Stark has worked as a Cisco Certified Premier Partner for telepresence and digital signage. He closely helped Cisco Enterprise clients to facilitate the design and sale of large telepresence projects including Immersive rooms, multipurpose rooms, personal telepresence, and Cisco Telepresence Infrastructure applications. His unique understanding of video networks and the audio/video/network standards required lead to many successful implementations of quality video on a private network. Brent now is expanding on this video background by providing network audio solutions as the Southwest Regional Manager for Biamp Systems. Based in Arizona, Brent oversees all sales and operations throughout Southern California, Southern Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. Now you can future-proof your projects and your business. With the first open, industry-accepted standards for transporting audio and video over the network, AVB bridges the gap between AV and IT technologies.
The new IEEE AVB standards synchronize multiple streams of audio and video, eliminate buffering delays and create resource reservation. And because AVB standards leverage existing Ethernet technology, they will benefit from ever increasing speeds and enhancements backed by major consumer electronics companies, allowing the AV industry to benefit from solutions aimed at the mass market.
For IT Managers, AVB means end-to-end digital networks that are simple to design and easy to manage.
AVB advantages include:
· IEEE standards
· Significantly lower latencies
· Larger channel capacity
· Intelligent switches
· Single network for all media, including non-AVB traffic

Mike Sexson is the Projects Manager for the State of Colorado’s Integrated Document Solutions (IDS). His focus has been with the Mail Print to Post Operations and customer outreach throughout the state. Over the last eight years that Mike has been with IDS, he has acquired extensive knowledge of the mail/print process by exploring new technologies and software that has proved a cost savings to all governments under the State of Colorado’s umbrella: local municipalities, counties, and state agencies. He has forged a unique partnership with the United States Postal Service (USPS) that has contributed to IDS evolving to a full service document management/publishing agency. Mike is responsible for the development of the State Address Quality Program and manages the National Change of Address (NCOA) vendor program. He coordinated with the USPS to make the State of Colorado the first and only state to have its own NCOA vendor. Mike is one of the Technology of Participation (ToP) certified state facilitators and is a five-year National Postal Forum (NPF) speaker and workshop education leader. In 2008, Mike started his speaking tour with the National Postal Forum Conference in Anaheim, California, moved onto Washington, D.C. in 2009, Nashville, Tennessee in 2010, San Diego, California in 2011, and recently presented earlier this month in Orlando, Florida. In 2011, Mike presented at the National Government Publishing Association (NGPA) Conference in Virginia on the topic of Re-engineering Government Print, as well as the MailCOM Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, raising awareness for Government Mail: A Road Map to Reduce Costs and Re-engineering Government Mail and Print Operations. Mike’s published article on “Moving Mountains in Government” in the March-April 2010 Mailing Systems Technology Magazine and has recognized him as an expert in this field.
Economic conditions and decreased tax revenues have caused state governments across the country to evaluate all aspects of operational spending. State governments have had to examine all issues regarding print and mail materials from all agencies. This re-evaluation has permitted front line print and mail employees to tear down individual silos and work towards feasible and cost saving solutions: making government agencies accountable for the decisions they make, the money they spend, and increasing ROI to the taxpayers. Come learn how the State of Colorado utilized new technologies and software to change the “business as usual” model to cut spending, reduce budgets, and deliver a higher return of service to constituents.

Their experience has given Nimble a unique perspective to solving the industry’s most pressing storage issues: reining in storage complexity, reducing costs, and implementing affordable backup and recovery.
The Nimble approach is based on the concept of converged storage, backup, and disaster recovery. It replaces an enterprise’s expensive high-RPM drives with a hybrid architecture that combines high-performance flash memory with low-cost, high-density SATA drives. And by deploying a second Nimble array in an off-site location, enterprises of any size can now obtain a complete, cost-effective data protection solution incorporating WAN-efficient primary-to-primary replication.
