Lelah Jenkins most recently served as the Mortgage Servicing Technology Business Executive for Bank of America. She led a division of technology professionals responsible for developing technology solutions for the Mortgage Servicing Operations and Merrill Lynch Mortgage Servicing lines of business. These two lines of business provide customer service, home retention, and other services to Bank of America’s portfolio of over 13 million mortgage and home equity loan customers. Prior to this role, Lelah managed the Countrywide Servicing Systems Development group as Managing Director for three years, and was responsible for growing an off-shore capacity for systems development and support in India, as well as managing application development teams located in several US locations. Lelah has over 30 years of experience in the IT Industry, with 25 of those years in the banking/mortgage sector. During the past fifteen years she served in senior executive leadership roles, including CIO at Downey Savings Bank, Senior Vice President of Technology Strategy at California Federal Bank, CIO at Glendale Federal Bank, and Director of Corporate Financial Systems at The Walt Disney Company. She has an MBA from the University of Southern California in Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University at Northridge. Lelah has been a former guest Speaker for Women in Technology International (WITI), as well as a member of the Advisory Board for the Orange County Association for Women in Technology. She previously served as a Board member for IS Associates, a non-profit that encourages current technology topics/courses in the major Southern California universities, and has been a guest speaker at many leadership events.
