Is a lion share of your IT infrastructure distributed across remote offices to satisfy performance needs of your employees? Do you operate multiple data centers because you fear that user experience decreases the farther they are away from the data center? If at least one of your answers is “YES” your IT environment is not just complex and expensive to manage, it may be a ticking bomb. Unprotected storage hanging at the branch offices carries a risk of security breach. Handling too many data centers does not give you the flexibility and efficiency you need to scale your business.
The good news is that with the latest innovation in IT performance you can:
– Consolidate entire data centers for greater efficiencies without affecting end-user experience
– Centralize and secure your business critical data without breaking applications
– Extend your virtualization efforts to remote locations to simplify troubleshooting and operations
Join Justyna Bak as she walks you through the latest recommendations on how to achieve the consolidation nirvana.

In the time it takes you to read this abstract, Facebook will have received another 150,000 unique page views from around the world. LinkedIn adds 10 new members every 5 seconds, with over 50% contributing to active discussions. And from flash mobs to #OccupyWallStreet, Twitter has already established itself as the tool of choice to redefine organized movements and protests.
Despite these incredible advances in social technology, however, collaboration in most organizations is still performed using a product first invented in 1971: Email.
In this presentation, we’ll look at the taxonomy of social networking and ask the question if and how it can be applied and extended to a traditional business. We’ll push the boundaries of what social networking can mean within an organization, from "friending" ERP and CRM systems through to using a social network as a knowledge library where employees can discover skills and share ideas. We’ll investigate the power of context as it relates to an organization’s social graph, and even look at how social networking can be used to transform reporting for your organization.
Whether you are new to the subject, or already have an implementation plan, you’ll walk away with a thorough understanding of how the technology can be effectively used within the four walls of your organization, and maybe even a different perspective on why we are all still relying on that technology from the 1970’s!

Cloud and virtualization technologies can be utilized to leverage economies of scale, mitigate risk and cut costs by using concepts from mature data management methodologies. Scarce resources can be better utilized by using data aging techniques to optimize storage and bandwidth of data stores. Planning for later data curation should be done at ingestion.
As a special thank you to all of our guests at The IT Summit, our sponsors have arranged for a prize drawing for you, our valued supporters. The prizes are different at every conference, but in the past have included items such as iPods, golf clubs, sporting event tickets, and eReaders.
The love of sound is Biamp‘s reason for being, and has been since our founding 35 years ago. We’ve grown to be an acknowledged international leader in professional installed audio electronics. You can sense our dedication to sound when you call for support and Biamp’s own technicians answer — in-house. You touch it when you use our intuitive software to configure new systems. You can hear our passion for great sound grow louder with every breakthrough design Biamp launches.
Most people have never seen Biamp products, but they’ve probably heard them work wonders — in airports, arenas, courtrooms, Houses of Worship, theaters, universities, corporations, and conference centers. Around the world, around the clock, Biamp equipment is delivering, managing and enhancing the sound.
For the love of sound, we never stop experimenting, tinkering and making the impossible actually practical. Because ultimately, when the lights dim and the speakers come on, it’s not about the system. It’s all about the sound..

Level 3 created a network that serves as a foundation for the communications services of the 21st century by providing, among other things, information transmission over a fiber optic network and media delivery over a content delivery network. And we’ve grown to support the end-to-end communications services that businesses and carriers rely on.
