Abbas brings over 15 years of experience across a wide range of domains including systems engineering, product management and strategy, technical marketing and sales. As the CTO, Abbas is responsible for promoting the use of relevance engines across all markets through analyst and media relations, public speaking, publishing and blogging. He also spends time working with clients to map out the value that a relevance engine will provide in their environment. As a recognized thought leader in IT management and BCM he is a frequent speaker and author on providing relevant information to the right people at the right time. Previously, Abbas was the VP of Product Strategy at Managed Objects (now Novell BSM), and AVP of Pre-Sales Engineering at OPNET Technologies. Ann-Michele was appointed Chief Information Officer of Intertek Group in September 2010. She is responsible for driving the Group's IT strategy and its alignment with the wider organisation. Ann-Michele joined as Global Vice President, Shared Services, having led the design and development of this program while working as lead consultant for Ernst & Young. Ann-Michele subsequently became the head of Intertek Group IT Business Systems and Infrastructure, where she collaborated with the business and financial leaders to establish the foundational elements of Intertek’s global IT strategy and improve the company’s IT support services.
Prior to joining Intertek, Ann-Michele held multiple leadership and operational positions in a variety of industries including manufacturing, technology, travel and professional services. Ann-Michele holds a BA from Wellesley College MA, USA.
Roberta “Robbie” Jones is a Sr. VP and CIO for Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP, with over 30 years experience in the delivery of business and IT solutions. In her current role, Robbie is responsible for facilitating the transformation and consolidation of business processes and technologies, across multiple operating units, into a common Boardwalk solution. Prior to her current assignment, she was accountable for the corporate philanthropic and facilities management activities at Boardwalk, in addition to IT.
Prior to Boardwalk, Robbie worked for various energy companies including TEPPCO Partners, Duke Energy and United Gas Pipeline, where she directed all aspects of corporate and operational application development and support, service delivery, IT compliance and security.
She received a BS degree in Electronics Data Processing in July 1976 from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas (now a branch of Texas A&M University). In 1996, she attended the Executive Development program at Northwestern University in Chicago.
